UK punk, 8 tracks. "Self released debut by Eastbourne's Brutal Regime who unleash a salvo of pile driving detonation that fuse heavy duty Scandi-D-Beat with Metallic breaks. The bass and rapid fire drumming explode like artillery fire, to ripping distorted guitar riffage, and guttural desperate vocals, spat out disgusted at a world gone to hell. It's one bleak message after another, but just listening to the news in just the past few days (corrupt media/police government, famine, war, debt crisis, right-wing extremism) does nothing to make me disagree with "The Abomination That Is Humankind". Bassist/Vocalist Steve and drummer Tez have been playing in local bands for many years now (H8BALL, MTA) whilst Tez was previously in UK Eighties Thrash-Metallers Virus, before that Criminal Damage who appeared on the 1983 No Future compilation "Country Fir for Heroes (Volume 2)" and nearly 30 years later he's still hammering it out, and supporting the scene..."
